Josh Dempsey is a designer based in Sacramento, California. He works with his clients to develop creative visual strategies for all types of projects; providing a full range of services from graphic design, web design, UI/UX, digital photography and post processing, and apparel design, to social marketing, style guides, and art direction.
Equipped with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Design, with an option in Graphic Design, as well as a Bachelor's of Science, in Instructional Design and Technology, from California State University, Chico, he has been designing for nearly twenty years and grows more passionate about it each day.
After a stint with one of the largest wineries in the country, creating labels, packaging, advertising, POS collateral, and work on national campaigns, he found himself following his love for print design where he ended up working for a letterpress studio—mixing inks, registering plates, and running presses. From there, he was the Graphic Design Manager for Z-Line Designs for nearly a decade, handling all print and web design, overseeing photography and post-processing, running social networks, new product development, and art directing our team of industrial designers.
Due to the COVID pandemic, he briefly shifted gears and changed industries, becoming the Graphic Designer for Truebeck Construction, before becoming a Senior Graphic Designer for The Studio, the in-house creative for Anywhere Real Estate; where he focuses on branding and marketing for top-tier real estate firms and Coldwell Banker agents around the country.
