Star Wars™ Furniture

Lucky enough to work with the legendary Lucasfilm, I was tasked to design and develop a line of furniture that was Star Wars™ branded. Focusing on the original trilogy, while keeping somewhat neutral to the saga — Responsibilities included art direction, creative lead, and go-to Star Wars geek.

Dealing primarily with my company’s, Z-Line Designs, gaming line of furniture, focus was placed on three main categories — Home Office, Home Entertainment, and Office Seating. All products are RTA (Read-to-Assemble), and designed to be shipped and built at-home, by the end consumer.

Along with the furniture design, custom hardware was another opportunity to inject some Star Wars™ IP into each piece. Creating custom drawer pulls and knobs (that double as headphone hooks when placed on a longer stud) was a no brainer. Crafting hardware for whichever side you chose — Light or Dark.

Building onto the home office offerings, a selection of office chairs (of the gaming variety) were created. Using the lumbar pillows to add some additional Star Wars™ IP flair, seating was able to be created for both sides of the battle.
