Garden Greetings Letterpress Printing
Having a background in letterpress printing has to be one of my personal favorite tools I wield. While my time with Wild Ink Press was shorter than I would have like (truth be told, I would love to do this forever), I was fortunate enough to work on some amazing jobs. This Garden Greetings piece, may just be the pinnacle of what I was able to produce during my tenure. Using Rebekah’s beautiful designs, countless hours and runs through the press itself, we were left with a wonderful collection of pieces — A 12-month garden themed calendar, nine matching greeting cards, and four notepads. The cards offer a quirky saying that we are all guilty of using once or twice, and make the perfect gift for any occasion.

Inspired by those little phrases we all said as kids, with exciting and playful colors and graphics to match, this entire line created a light-hearted and whimsical feeling whenever you picked one up. These cards were such a joy to print, dialing in each color and impression, knowing just how excited everyone was going to be once they received theirs in the mail.
The show-stealer of the line was a beautiful twelve page clipboard calendar. 12 months, 12 hand-drawn illustrations, 9 perfect letterpress colors. The clipboard is 100% recycled hardboard, and sized at 6″ x 9″.
I think my only complaint with this line is that it was limited time! The color work on these, mixed with the way the designs would bleed past the trim, these cards and calendars turned out to be a big hit, with not only us at the shop, but customers near and far as well.
